Sheamus has been in the wrestling business for nearly fifteen years in WWE. He proved that he could still do it at the highest level and did so in his intense in-ring bout on tonight’s June 3rd edition of Monday Night RAW.
The first bout of the show saw Sheamus engaging in a one-on-one showdown with his rival from the past few weeks, Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser, who has been on his trail ever since his ally, GUNTHER defeated Sheamus in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament.
The match was absolutely what the fans had expected from Sheamus and Kaiser, an all-out banger. However, the closing moments of the bout saw The Celtic Warrior injuring his leg but insisted on competing further. But that proved to be his downfall as a failed attempt to execute a Brogue Kick led to Kaisar rolling up Sheamus and clinching the win.
Despite his loss, Sheamus displayed proof of the showdown being a banger by taking to his X and showing off his battle scars.
“Blindsided.”
With Sheamus suffering a huge loss and taking away scars from the same, we will have to wait and see what unfolds next in this ongoing rivalry.
