Shelton Benjamin To Make AEW In-Ring Debut Against Lio Rush On AEW Dynamite

Shelton Benjamin will be in action on the October 16 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Tony Khan announced that Shelton Benjamin will make his AEW in-ring debut when he faces Lio Rush on Wednesday. Benjamin made his AEW debut on the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he reunited with MVP. The duo confronted Swerve Strickland at AEW WrestleDream.

AEW also announced that Adam Cole will return to Dynamite after he appeared at AEW WrestleDream. Cole had been sidelined with an ankle injury in recent months; he was taken off the road months after initially suffering the injury at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2023. He had been making some non-wrestling appearances, but he was taken off the road to help his recovery.
