A press event that was planned to help kick off tonight’s debut of Shifting Gears on ABC has been postponed.

The event was set to take place on Stage 6 on the Walt Disney Studio Lot. All the stars were set to participate in the two-hour affair, including Tim Allen, Kat Dennings, Daryl Mitchell, Sean William Scott, Maxwell Simkins, Barrett Margolis and Jenna Elfman.

The multi-cam features Allen as a stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop who begrudgingly allows his daughter and grandkids to move into his house. The ABC series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.

The press event was the latest to be shuttered in light of the devastation in the Palisades and Altadena. Late Tuesday, the decision was made to cancel tonight’s red carpet premiere for The Pitt. The event was to take place at the Pacific Design Center Wednesday night, with the cast, led by star/executive producer Noah Wyle, scheduled to attend along with executive producers John Wells and R. Scott Gemmill, who serves as showrunner.

Also on Tuesday night, Paramount cancelled their Wednesday night LA premiere for the Robbie Williams biopic Better Man, while the SAG Awards called off their in-person nominations announcement, set for this morning.

Earlier on Tuesday, Universal pulled the plug on their world premiere for the Blumhouse horror film Wolf Man and Amazon nixed their LA premiere for the Jennifer Lopez feature Unstoppable. Both events were slated to take place Tuesday night.
