Shotzi Blackheart sustained a major injury during a recent NXT TV taping, resulting in alterations to scheduled events. Following the injury, she underwent surgery, and her rehabilitation journey has already commenced. In fact, she finally got her stitches out after surgery as well.
During last month’s WWE NXT taping, Shotzi sustained a knee injury while attempting her apron DDT, rendering her unable to bear weight on the knee and experiencing considerable pain.
Shotzi has already confirmed that she suffered an ACL tear and underwent surgery for the injury, for which she will be on the shelf for nine months. Shotzi took to her Instagram and uploaded a video, revealing that she finally got her stitches taken out from her leg.
”Day 11! Got my stitches out! Thank you Dr. Dugas for respecting my tattoo and giving me the most beautiful stitches ever! Healed insanely well! Im freakin wolverine!”
The footage of the exact moment when Shotzi suffered her injury was also revealed. Only time will tell what WWE has planned for her upon Shotzi’s return, as fans continue to wish her the best.
