‘Shrinking’ Season 2 Release Schedule: When Do New Episodes Arrive?

Get ready for some more “Jimmying” as Shrinking Season 2 starts to unfold on Apple TV+ this week.

The second season of the comedy from creators Bill Lawrence, Jason Segel and Brett Goldstein will pick up where Season 1 left off, with some messes to clean up involving Jason Segel’s Jimmy Laird, Jessica Williams’ Gaby Evans and Heidi Gardner’s Grace.

Shrinking Season 2 premieres on Wednesday Oct. 16.

How many episodes are in Shrinking Season 2?

Season 2 will have 12 episodes, two more than the 10-episode first season.

When are new episodes of Shrinking Season 2 streaming on Apple TV+? Do they arrive weekly or all at once?

New episodes will be streaming at 12 midnight Tuesday or the very beginning of Wednesday early in the morning. The Shrinking Season 2premiere will roll out the first two episodes, and then one episode will follow per week on Wednesdays through Christmas, December 25.

What is Shrinking about?

The Apple TV+ comedy series follows grieving therapist Jimmy Laird (Jason Segel) as he meddles in the lives of his patients after he gets compassion fatigue. He recently lost his wife Tia in a car accident, and he is still healing and trying to parent his daughter Alice. Jimmy works under Paul Rhodes (Harrison Ford) with Gaby Evans (Jessica Williams). In Season 1, he took on Sean (Luke Tennie) as a patient, and things got a bit complicated.

Who is in Shrinking Season 2?

Segel, Ford, Williams and Tennie will return alongside their Season 1 costars Michael Urie who plays Jimmy’s best friend Brian, Christa Miller and Ted McGinley as neighbors Liz and Derek, Lukita Maxwell as Alice Laird and more. Brett Goldstein, who is one of the creators of the series, will guest star in Season 2 as well.
