Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was seen at a nightclub in Belfast the night before Erik ten Hag revealed he missed training due to “illness”.

The England international apparently enjoyed a midweek night out at Thompsons Garage club in Belfast, with footage emerging on social media showing him entering the party arena on Wednesday night, according to the Daily Mail. Sources close to Rashford revealed he had dinner and had to delay his flight home after falling ill. Even manager Erik ten Hag confirmed that Rashford’s absence was due to illness during Friday’s press conference, ahead of the FA Cup fourth round match against Newport County.

New scandal at Manchester United

The Manchester United manager said: “This morning Rashford was ill, as was (Jonny) Evans. So we have to see how they recover, but for the rest we have players coming back, like (Lisandro) Martinez, (Luke) Shaw, (Harry) Maguire, Casemiro, which is a good thing. »

A video shared by a user on X shows Rashford walking down the stairs of the nightclub with a group of friends. The video was shared with a caption that read: “Rashford was out at Thompsons last night in Belfast which didn’t help his performance. »
