Actor Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 4 has been delayed again. This time the film has faced a major setback as Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan have mutually parted ways with Siddharth Anand due to scheduling conflicts.

Krrish 4 was supposed to be co-produced by Siddharth Anand along with Rakesh Roshan, and Karan Malhotra are on board to direct it. Siddharth has stepped away from the film as he is set to direct his home production King starring Shah Rukh Khan.
According to Peepingmoon.com sources, “Siddharth is now fully occupied as both producer and director of ‘King’, which is scheduled to begin filming in May and continue through the end of the year. This created a timeline clash with ‘Krrish 4’, which was tentatively slated to commence production by the end of 2025. Rather than delaying the project further, Siddharth and the Krrish 4 team mutually decided to part ways and focus on their respective projects. This decision is purely a matter of scheduling misalignment and not related to budgetary concerns. All reports doing the rounds regarding the budget are untrue.”
However, even after talking the toughest decision and sharing the close bond with each other Hrithik and Siddharth have discussions for future collaborations and will be announcing soon post their current work.
Here’s How It Happened
It is thought that the schedule conflicts started when Siddharth Anand took up directing duties for King after Sujoy Ghosh quit the project to work on another project. According to reports, the director of Kahaani left the project because he felt limited by the film’s extensive action sequences and wanted to concentrate on additional projects that matched his aesthetic. Previously involved with the film only as a producer, Siddharth later took over as director, giving King his whole focus and leaving little time for Krrish 4.
Despite Siddharth’s exit, Krrish 4 will be made and Rakesh Roshan is working on the script. The trade source expressed, “With Indian audiences now accustomed to Hollywood superhero films, ‘Krrish 4’ must meet international standards. But, since we cannot match Hollywood budgets, the challenge lies in delivering a world-class story within a realistic financial framework. Rakesh Ji has struck the balance, and the project now moves forward to lock in the technical team.”
Hrithik Roshan’s Work Front
On the professional front, Hrithik will next be in Yash Raj Films’ War 2 which releases in theatres on August 14. He is expected to follow that with Krrish 4 by the end of this year.
