Simon Cowell responded to the tragic death of Liam Payne with a touching tribute. The One Direction member passed away at the age of 31 on Wednesday (October 16). Simon, who mentored One Direction after the group was formed on The X Factor in 2010, took to social media to respond to the devastating news.
