It appears MyKayla Skinner couldn’t stand the heat, so she got out of the kitchen.

Amid a feud with history-making gymnast Simone Biles — who, along with her fellow Team USA members, won gold during Tuesday’s women’s all-around gymnastics final at the 2024 Paris Olympics — Skinner blocked her former teammate on social media.

“oop I’ve been blocked 👀🤭😂,” Biles, 27, posted on X Wednesday.

Her teammate Jordan Chile took the online banter a step further by sharing to her Instagram Story a photo of Biles’ phone showing that she could not view Skinner’s Instagram account.

“When she blocks Simone,” Chiles, 23, wrote atop the image.

After the ladies’ win, Biles captioned a celebratory picture featuring herself, Chiles, Sunisa “Suni” Lee, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera, “lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions ❤️🥇🇺🇸.”

The caption was a callback to Skinner’s shady comments about the team from earlier this month.

“Besides Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth just isn’t like what it used to be,” Skinner — who retired after winning silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics — said in a since-deleted YouTube video.

“Just notice, like, I mean, obviously a lot of girls don’t work as hard. The girls just don’t have the work ethic.”

Skinner eventually apologized and posted a picture of the victorious Team USA — Jade Carey, Sunisa “Suni” Lee, Biles, Chiles and Hezly Rivera — to her Instagram Story alongside three red heart emojis. instagram/usagym After the ladies’ win on Tuesday, Biles captioned a celebratory snap of the group, “lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions ❤️🥇🇺🇸.” Getty Images

Skinner, 27, eventually retracted her remarks and apologized, even going on to post a photo of the victorious Team USA to her Instagram Story alongside three red heart emojis.

But Biles’ teammates are on her side, with many adding fuel to the fire.

“And that’s on periodt!!” Chiles commented beneath the cheeky upload, while Lee, 21, reposted the picture to her Instagram Story and added, “Put a finger down if simone biles just ended you 🖐🏼.”

Retired Team USA gymnast McKayla Maroney commented, “It doesn’t get more iconic than this.. She f’d around n found out fr. Feels like I need to apologize just to redeem my first name.” mckaylamaroney/Instagram Skinner and Biles competed together at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Getty Images

Retired Team USA gymnast McKayla Maroney upped the ante by writing, “It doesn’t get more iconic than this.. She f’d around n found out fr. Feels like I need to apologize just to redeem my first name.”

Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens, echoed the sentiments with, “F AROUND AND FIND OUT.”

She previously quipped that Team USA’s nickname was the acronym “F.A.A.F.O.;” however, she has since clarified that they are the “✨golden girls✨” because they’re the “oldest olympic team.”
