Well-known Yoruba actress Funmilayo Omikunle has talked about the kind of predicament she found herself in following her husband’s death and how she has managed to survive in the Yoruba film industry.

In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Oyinmomo TV during an interview, she disclosed that since her husband died, she has not had anybody to depend upon, saying that she has not married another man since that time.

In her statement, she said, “I’m trying my best to survive, that is why I have a shop, and I’m also a teacher because I want to be able to take care of my family. Since my husband died, I don’t have anyone to depend upon, and I didn’t marry another man. My belief is that no man will take responsibility for my children for me, so I can’t rely on anybody.”

Nollywood actress Oloruntimilehin Bosede Bukola, better known as Kiitan Bukola, has opened up on her personal life and marriage.



The Yoruba actress, in an interview with Biola Bayo, revealed that he loves marriage but is scared of it. Explaining why, she said she doesn’t want her kids to grow up outside wedlock like she did. Kiitan noted how she never grew up with the love of a father as her father has many children, which she doesn’t know of.



Kiitan further revealed that she didn’t have a father’s care nor did she grow up in a two-parent household where there is a father and mother. She admitted that it gutted her because she didn’t enjoy such feeling.
