Robert Garrison Brown, the 25-year-old son of Sister Wives stars Kody and Janelle Brown, has passed away after committing suicide.
Garrison was found dead at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona. He was reportedly discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
The former couple released a joint statement.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” the statement reads. “He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
Janelle and Kody share five other children: Gabriel, 22; Logan, 29; Madison, 27; Hunter, 26; and Savanah, 18,
The couple have been separated since 2022, and Kody faced heavy backlash after he chose to spend all of his time with Robyn Brown and her children, accused of abandoning his other children.
Janelle has expressed concern over Garrison’s mental health to Kody who was seemingly dismissive. Kody refused to be active in their lives until Garrison and Gabrial apologized to him and Robyn for comments about the way he handled the COVID 19 pandemic.
“Gabriel feels everything very, very deeply. But he’s also the kid who doesn’t say anything,” Janelle said at the time. “And Garrison just seems angry or sadder, like, he’s not as happy-go-lucky as he used to be.”
