The 2025 Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament is going to be a massive one, and six major stars have already been confirmed to be involved in it.

During Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, Billie Starkz and ROH Women’s World Champion Athena confirmed they would be participating in the event.

Shortly after, Jamie Hayter also threw her name into consideration, saying that she thinks it’s fitting that she returned at AEW All In last year, and will leave this year’s event as champion.

The announcements didn’t end there, though, as Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa both also declared for the tournament while in a backstage interview. Later in the night, in another surprise, reigning AEW TBS Champion and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné also appeared, calling out Athena and saying she would participate in the tournament, promising to win.

The winner of the tournament will receive a challenge for the AEW Women’s Championship, with that match taking place at AEW All In, which is set to take place on July 12, 2025.
