Skye Blue revealed some big news tonight at AEW Dynamite, and also earned herself a shot at the AEW TBS Championship.
During Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, Blue crashed the TBS title celebration of Mercedes Moné, who was looking to party after her win at AEW Double or Nothing.
During the celebration, Blue appeared on the jumbotron, revealing that she was actually the person who mysteriously attacked Moné last month.
Blue replayed the moment for Moné, and called it some of her “best work.” An angry Moné was then ambushed by Blue, who appeared behind her in the ring. Blue then dropped Moné with a big slam and posed over her with the TBS Championship in hand.
Later in the show, it was announced that Blue would compete against Moné tonight for the title, in Moné’s first-ever title defense.
