Skye Blue Suffers Injury On 7/20 AEW Collision, Match Stopped Early

Skye Blue suffered an injury during Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, forcing her match to be stopped.

Blue was in a match with Hikaru Shida on the July 20 episode of Collision when the injury occurred. The spot it happened in saw Shida land a suicide dive onto Blue outside of the ring. Blue landed awkwardly from the hit, and immediately called for assistance from the referee.

As a result of the injury, the match was promptly stopped, and Shida declared the winner. After the match, AEW’s Tony Khan took to social media to note that Blue suffered an ankle injury. While no other information is available at the moment, Khan said she is currently being examined by doctors.
