EXCLUSIVE: European streamer SkyShowtime will capitalize on the success of Yellowstone with the addition of upcoming sequel series The Madison to its lineup.

The streamer shared details of its forthcoming lineup with Deadline, revealing a variety of premium U.S. and international series and movies.

SkyShowtime is a joint-venture between Paramount and Comcast and available in over 20 territories in Europe. Earlier this year, its CEO, Monty Sarhan talked up “the year of Yellowstone” and the SVOD service will duly bolster its line-up with the Michelle Pfeiffer-starring sequel The Madison. It will also have season two of the prequel series 1923, starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. No TX date was given for Taylor Sheridan’s The Madison, which is expected to premiere in 2025.

Continuing the theme, SkyShowtime will also have Yellowstone 150, a documentary with Kevin Costner who explores Yellowstone National Park and investigates the events that led to its preservation.

Its corporate ownership gives SkyShowtime access to the Paramount, NBCUniversal and Sky Studios pipeline of content.

Accordingly, it has other big-ticket new series including The Agency, the political thriller starring Micheal Fassbender, exec produced by George Clooney and based on hit French drama Le Bureau des Légendes. Richard Gere, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, John Magaro, and Katherine Waterston also star.

Other shows headed to SkyShowtime include drama Happy Face, with Dennis Quaid in the titular role of the real-life serial killer, Dexter: Resurrection, and the third season of Yellowjackets.

As well as the U.S.-originated fare, the streamer has UK-produced limited series Lockerbie: A Search for Truth, about the titular air disaster and starring Colin Firth, as well as Spanish true crime doc series A Recipe for Murder.

First-run movies coming to SkyShowtime include IF, Kung Fu Panda 4, Back to Black and The Fall Guy.

“We continue to expand our offering with must-see series such as Lockerbie: A Search for Truth and The Agency, along with exciting spin-offs and returning fan favourites,” said SkyShowtime Chief Content Officer Kai Finke. “We are also excited to announce the expansion of the Yellowstone universe with The Madison and the second season of 1923.”

He added: “Additionally, we’re delighted to bolster our slate of local titles with a thrilling true crime documentary from Spain, A Recipe for Murder – joining a range of local originals that perfectly embodies our commitment to delivering first-class entertainment for our audience.”

The abovementioned will sit alongside a slate of local originals with eight-to-ten titles set to be added to the service this year taking the total to around 20 shows.
