Slow Horses star Rosalind Eleazar has been set to lead Netflix‘s Harlan Coben adaptation Missing You, which is currently filming in the UK.
Drama Missing You tells the story of detective Kat Donovan who stumbles across her estranged fiancé on a dating app, forcing her to delve back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder.
As we previously revealed, Quay Street Productions, the ITV Studios-backed production outfit founded by Nicola Shindler, is producing after recently shepherding the streamer’s hit Coben adaptation Fool Me Once. Coben will serve as executive producer through his company Final Twist Productions.
Victoria Asare-Archer, who wrote two episodes of Coben’s Stay Close for Netflix in 2021, is writer. The series will be directed by Sean Spencer, with Isher Sahota serving as second director. Executive producers are Coben, Shindler, Richard Fee, Asare-Archer, and Brocklehurst. Guy Hescott is the producer.
Missing You, and the streamer’s upcoming adaptation of Run Away, will be the ninth and tenth Coben projects produced under Netflix’s fruitful partnership with the author, who has sold more than 80M books worldwide.
Fool Me Once, which premiered in January, amassed 61M views in its first two weeks, topping Netflix’s global top 10 English language TV shows.
Eleazar is best known for series Slow Horses, Class Of ’09, Deep Water and Harlots. She is repped by The Artists Partnership in the UK and Principle Entertainment LA.
Netflix declined to comment.
