Young French defender Leny Yoro was injured during a warm-up match played by Manchester United against Arsenal.

Erik ten Hag is not going to dwell on a defeat. The one conceded by Manchester United, Saturday evening against Arsenal (2-1), during a preparation match in the United States. The Dutch manager of the Red Devils is rather concerned about Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund. The 18-year-old French defender and the Danish striker were injured during this match played in Inglewood (California).

Obviously we don’t want any injuries in this pre-season, that’s one of the most important things we’re trying to avoid. We don’t know how serious their injuries are. ” reacted Ten Hag in front of the media, a few minutes after the end of the match between the two English Premier League teams.

Starting in the centre with Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro was forced to leave the pitch at the start of the second half (51st), replaced by Rhys Bennett. The former Losc player reportedly limped off. Rasmus Hojlund, Manchester United’s scorer against the Gunners (10th), was clearly complaining about his hamstrings.
