Mikey Madison guest-hosted Saturday Night Live and spoofed Hilary Duff‘s Today show choreography alongside Bowen Yang.
The sketch revolved around two doctors who met during Duff’s performance on the NBC morning talk show in 2007.
Madison plays OBGYN Dr. Richards, who meets her patient’s midwife, Barry, played by Yang. However, when Dr. Richards’ patient introduces her to Barry, the OBGYN acts like she doesn’t remember him.
“I’ve lost a lot of respect for you for not remembering. It makes me furious,” Barry tells Dr. Richards.
Barry then fires back at Dr. Richards, reminding her, “Just so you know. We met at the Hilary Duff performance at the Today show during the Toyota Summer Concert Series at 8 a.m. Need I say more?”

Three years later, Dr. Richards and Barry meet again, and now Barry acts like he doesn’t remember her.
Viewers then get transported back 21 years to Duff’s performance at the Today show plaza, where Barry and Dr. Richards met for the first time.
“I’m Dr. Richards, by the way,” she introduces herself to Barry and his 2007 New Year’s glasses. “I work as an OBGYN for Late Night with Conan. That’s why I’m dressed like this.”
The patient is having a second child and this time, Dr. Richards and Barry do remember each other.
Barry comes into the hospital room with long blonde hair, saying, “Clear path! Clear path for Barry, the forgiving midwife.”
Dr. Richards apologizes to Barry and tells him, “I’m sorry. I’ll never forget you again.”
Barry adds, “And I’ll never forget Hilary’s amazing choreo.”
Yang and Madison then pay homage to Duff’s performance on the Today show.
In 2007, Duff appeared on the Today show, where she performed With Love. Her appearance on the show has since gone viral because of her seemingly low-energy and uncomplicated dance moves. Many social media users have spoofed the performance, which you can relive below.
