‘So Help Me Todd’ Adds Heather Morris As Recurring In Season 2 Of CBS Dramedy

EXCLUSIVE: CBS dramedy So Help Me Todd is expanding its recurring cast ahead of the upcoming second season, adding Glee alumna Heather Morris in a key role, opposite Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin. Additionally, Sandra Bernhard (American Horror Story) will appear in a guest-starring role in Season 2.

Created by Scott Prendergast, in So Help Me Todd, despite their opposing personalities, a talented but directionless P.I. (Astin) who is the black sheep of his family begrudgingly agrees to work as the in-house investigator for his overbearing mother (Harden), a successful attorney reeling from the recent dissolution of her marriage.

Madeline Wise, Tristen J. Winger, Inga Schlingmann and Rosa Arredondo also star.

Morris plays Judy Maxon, a gift shop clerk in Todd and Margaret’s office building. She has unusual ideas about the world, and has her sights set on Todd.

Bernhard portrays Belinda Tuttle, the “Queen of Courts”, an unscrupulous, ambulance chasing attorney, specializing in slips-n-falls, personal injury, and working the court system to her financial advantage. She is the “anti-Margaret.”

Prendergast, Elizabeth Klaviter, who also serves as showrunner, Dr. Phil McGraw, Stuart Gillard, Jay McGraw and Julia Eisenman serve as executive producers. CBS Studios is the studio.

Morris is best known for her comedic breakout role of Brittany S. Pierce on Fox’s hit musical series Glee. She’s repped by Untitled Entertainment.

Bernhard recently co-starred on Season 11 of Ryan Murphy’s FX series American Horror Story, in AHS: NYC, filmed in her adopted hometown of New York City. Bernhard is repped by The Rosenzweig Group and attorney Larry Kopeiken.

Season 2 of So Help Me Todd premieres February 15 on CBS.
