Did Quando Address Durk’s Arrest?

Last week, TSR reported that U.S. Marshals took Lil Durk into custody in Florida on Thursday, October 24, in alleged connection to a murder-for-hire plot targeting Quando Rondo. Now, social media users have questioned whether Quando reacted to his arrest after he posted a lengthy, heartfelt Instagram message on Sunday, October 27. While Rondo teased his new song, ‘Life Goes On,’ many believed he referenced Durk based on his post’s content.

“We didn’t get into this music industry to make it just to stay caught up in this street s**t. We all have families and communities counting on us. It’s time to leave all that behind. We’ve already lost so much, and it’s heavy on my heart to forgive anyone I had issues with in the past. It’s all love from me. Praying for everyone. ‘Life Goes On,'” Rondo wrote.

At this time, Quando hasn’t directly addressed Durk’s arrest or confirmed if his Instagram message was aimed at him.

Here’s What Happened With Durk

Broward County currently holds Lil Durk, and California prosecutors have arrested several other men for a murder-for-hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The Shade Room reviewed jail records showing that marshals arrested Durk on charges related to a murder-for-hire scheme. Court documents reveal that the attempt involved a shootout at a Los Angeles gas station in August 2022, leading to the death of Quando’s cousin, Saviay’a Robinson. Reports indicate that the murder plot sought to avenge the death of Lil Durk’s mentee, King Von. Prosecutors charged Timothy “Lul Tim” Leeks, a Quando associate, with King Von’s murder. However, in August 2023, they dropped the felony charges, as reported by Complex.
