Society of Camera Operators announced today the film and television nominees for its 2025 SOC Awards, which honor the craft of camera operation and celebrate the vital role camera operators and crews play in storytelling.
Vying for the movie prize are the camera pros behind Challengers, Civil War, A Complete Unknown, Wicked and Wolfs. Nominees on the TV side are the operators for episodes of The Bear, Fallout, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Penguin and Yellowstone.
Winners will be honored during the annual SOC Lifetime Achievement Awards weekend on February 14 & 15 at Loews Hollywood.
The lensers behind Netflix’s Society of the Snow and HBO’s The Last of Us were the big winners at the 2024 SOC Awards.
