Liat Baruch’s timeless aesthetic doesn’t change with the trends — but it certainly influences them.
As Sofia Richie’s stylist, she’s helped curate everything from the star’s coronation look to her internet-breaking wedding week outfits — a catalyst for the now-ubiquitous quiet luxury phenomenon.
But for Baruch, a newly-minted Bloomingdale’s collaborator, going viral was never part of the plan,
“I have a lot of high-profile clients. Some are famous and some are not, but it was never about exposure,” she tells Page Six Style.
“It was just more about doing what I do and collaborating with my clients,” adds the style expert, who’s also worked with A-listers like Connie Britton and Nicole Richie.

And while we can’t all score styling sessions with Baruch herself, she’s now offering the next best thing: a collection for Bloomingdale’s exclusive Aqua brand featuring 28 ready-to-wear pieces priced between $98 and $168.
“I tend to go for a more classic [style],” she says of her design aesthetic, which she also defines as “flirty with a wink.”
You don’t need designer duds to rock the luxe trend, however, as Baruch says you can “create the same look” with “mid-priced” pieces.
Read on for five quiet luxury wardrobe staples she recommends, plus Page Six Style’s selections to shop each one.
A cute cardigan
Sofia Richie wearing Proenza Schouler Instagram/@liatbaruchRegardless of the season, Baruch recommends investing in a “good sweater, whether it’s a cardigan or crewneck” — after all, staying warm isn’t the only use for a chic knit.
“I liken it to playing with your hair; when you play with the sleeves of your sweater around your neck, it’s kind of flirty in a way,” she says.

“I think we really nailed it with [the Aqua] tweed trouser … it’s very flattering on the body,” she says. “It hugs your bottom nicely, and it just hangs nicely.”
