‘Solar Opposites’ Renewed For Season 6 At Hulu

Ahead of its Season 5 premiere, Hulu has renewed its hit adult animated series Solar Opposites for a sixth season. The news was announced during the show’s panel today at San Diego Comic-Con following word that a Halloween special will premiere later this year. Season 5 will premiere all episodes on Monday, August 12 on Hulu. You can watch a trailer below.

Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Dan Stevens) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff. On season 5, now that alien mission partners Terry and Korvo are married, the whole Solar Opposites team are focused on family values.

Solar Opposites is executive produced by Mike McMahan, Josh Bycel and Sydney Ryan. The series is produced by 20th Television Animation.
