A real renewed form or not, Manchester United signed a third row victory on Thursday evening, all competitions combined. Unheard of this season for the Red Devils who therefore beat the Romanians of FC Steua Bucharest (0-2) outside. Many bars and amounts affected in this part, but a more than logical victory of the Mancunians. This success offers them third place in the final ranking of the Europa League League phase.

The two goals of United were registered in the second period, respectively by Diogo Dalot (60th) and Kobbie Mainoo (68th). Manchester therefore finished third behind the Lazio which was beaten in Portugal by Braga (1-0). A victory not sufficient for the Lusitanian club which fails at the doors of the dams, with the same number of points as Fenerbahçe (24th), but one goal scored less.

A story of goals difference

The eight teams qualified directly for the 8th are, in order, the Lazio, the Athlétic Barlabo, MU, Tottenham, the Eintracht Frankfurt, Lyon, the Olympiakos and the Glasgow Rangers. As for Anderlecht who was in this group before this last day, he fell in love with him. Led 1-4 by Hoffenheim, he managed to return to 3-4, but this defeat sends him in dams, again for a difference in goals less good than the Rangers.
