Barcelona might have a tempting offer coming their way for goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen from the Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad, sources have informed Barça Universal.
Despite all the struggles the team has faced, especially defensively, Ter Stegen has stood out as one of the top goalkeepers in Europe this season.
As of today, Barcelona are firm in their stance that he is not up for grabs, but things could change with interest from a club in Saudi Arabia, considering the amount of money they can spend.
Interestingly, Al Ittihad, a team where N’Golo Kante and Karim Benzema play, want to sign Ter Stegen for the upcoming season.
It seems like other clubs from that region are eyeing top players from Europe, similar to what happened last summer when they made some big signings.

What is Barcelona’s stance over Ter Stegen’s future?
In all honesty, Barcelona have not shown their cards yet. They have previously said that Ter Stegen, along with a few others, is indispensable for the next season.
He has been a crucial player, especially during their tough times, which is why it is hard to imagine them letting him go, especially this summer.
As such, finding a replacement won’t be easy as well, and their backup goalkeeper, Inaki Pena, has not proven to be the best option. Plus, Ter Stegen seems happy at Barcelona and is not looking to leave anytime soon.
So, while an offer might be on the table, it is doubtful that Barcelona will agree to let go of Ter Stegen.
He is too valuable to their team, and replacing him would be a tough challenge. Plus, he is settled at Barcelona and is not eager to leave.
