Kathryn Dennis has been arrested. The former Southern Charm star was arrested Monday night (May 20) for driving under the influence in South Carolina, via TMZ. The police in Goose Creek, South Carolina booked the former reality TV star after they say she was involved in a 3-car collision. A responding officer described Kathryn‘s alleged state at the accident scene as appearing impaired with “glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her person.” This is her first offense with drinking and driving, but she was also once identified as a suspect in a hit-and-run at an elementary school last year, but not arrested. She was also booked for driving with an open container. She’s had substance abuse struggles in the past, losing custody of her children with ex and former co-star Thomas Ravenel in 2016, after testing positive for marijuana and entering rehab. He reportedly gained full custody last year. The two have had an on-and-off relationship for several years, and welcomed their children, Kensington and Saint, in 2014 and 2015, respectively. They split in 2016. She left Southern Charm in 2023 after 8 seasons on the show, and had announced back in March she was heading back to school.
