Fabian Ruiz (28 years old) remains in trouble. Still in difficulty with Paris Saint-Germain, the midfielder had gotten into the habit of redoing his cherry in the selection, but not this time. Injured upon his arrival with La Roja, the former Napoli player’s gathering turned into a disaster. Uncertain for the first match, he finally played in the victory in Denmark (1-2) but made many mistakes, including a missed pass towards his goalkeeper which could have cost Spain dearly.

Starting again against Switzerland, the Parisian played the entire match, but experienced another difficult match. He is the player who made the mistake in the 85th minute on the Nati’s equalizing penalty. Fortunately for Fabian, Bryan Zaragoza came to save La Roja at the end of added time with a shot on goal, too (3-2, 90+3rd). Far from the full confidence expected for the PSG midfielder.
