Determined to assert itself as a footballing power in the making in anticipation of the 2034 World Cup, Saudi Arabia has greatly disrupted the daily lives of European clubs by investing massively in its championship, the Saudi Pro League, and by attracting high-sounding names of the Old Continent (Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kanté, Sadio Mané, Neymar to name a few) through attractive salaries and various benefits during the last summer transfer window. If since the opening of the winter transfer market, the Saudis have remained silent to say the least, that does not stop them from dreaming of other big names in football, like Kylian Mbappé.

During an interview with the media Square on YouTube, Prince Abdullah Saaad Abdulaziz Al Saud confided that he hoped to one day see the Parisian star play in the Saudi Pro League. “Of course we love it. Kylian Mbappé is a good player, he is strong and I hope to see him play in Saudi Arabia, in any team in our championship.he first said before continuing as follows: “Saudi Arabia is now the market monster. We have Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema. We have a strong championship and we will surprise again. More stars will come. Saudi Arabia plans to become number 1 football nation soon”, the member of the Saudi royal family ended up concluding. There is no doubt that his statements will make more than one person react at a time when several stars are seeking to flee Saudi Arabia…
