The inaugural WWE Speed Women’s Champion has been crowned.

WWE taped the WWE Speed Women’s Championship Tournament Finals following SmackDown on October 4. According to fans in attendance, Candice LeRae beat IYO SKY to win the tournament and the title.

Candice LeRae previously beat Piper Niven in the first round of the tournament. IYO SKY beat Lyra Valkyria and Naomi to advance to the finals.

With the win, LeRae won her first singles title in WWE. She is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.
