Well in place as usual, whether collectively, on a technical and defensive level, the Brest players got off to a good start in their meeting, quickly putting the OM players in difficulty. If Marseille dominated overall in the first act, the Brestois nevertheless had the best opportunities to hit the mark.

Upon returning from the locker room, the match got heated on both sides. From the hour mark, SB29 was reduced to 10. Steve Mounié was expelled from the game for an elbow given to Leonardo Balerdi in the chest. The turning point of the match? Not so sure.
