What if FC Barcelona found happiness in Italy in the quest for its midfielder? Under contract with Napoli until 2027, Stanislav Lobotka seems open to a departure from Campania in order to offer himself an exciting challenge abroad. Announced many times on the tablets of Barça, the 29-year-old defensive midfielder expressed his future ambitions on the sidelines of the meeting between Slovakia and England counting for the 8th finals of Euro 2024.

“I would like to play for a top club. But for now I am in Naples, I am happy to be here, I have a contract and an Italian family. If I received an offer from a big club, I would accept it. But it would not be a problem if I stayed. I am satisfied and my sporting situation will not influence my life… Barça? The transfer window is open and anything can happen. It is a club that I have followed since I was little, at the time of Deco and Ronaldinho. I have always supported it and it is a matter of heart. If an offer came, I would like to go there. But as I said, I am happy in Naples.”the Slovak international said in the columns of the Sports Gazette. Statements which, however, echo those of his agent, Branislav Jarusek, last March.
