Now on its fifth day, the 2024 STARDOM 5 Star Grand Prix has narrowed down its lineup with some competitors unable to make the top playoffs. STARDOM held Day 5 of the tournament live from the Kyoto KBS Hall this past August 17.

The full results of the 5 Star Grand Prix Day 5 are as follows:

Thekla [2] Blue Stars A Block: Starlight Kid [5] def. Koguma [2] Blue Stars A Block: Risa Sera [4] def. Saki Kashima [2] Blue Stars A Block: Saori Anou [5] def. Miyu Amasaki [2]

STARDOM 5 Star Grand Prix standings

Following Day 5, the following competitors take the lead in their respective blocks and have a higher chance of reaching the tournament’s top eight competitors:

Red Stars A (6 points): Maika Red Stars B (6 points): AZM, Mayu Iwatani, Tomoka Inaba Blue Stars A (5 points each): Saori Anou, Starlight Kid Blue Stars B (6 points): Saya Kamitani

Competitors such as Tam Nakano, Momo Watanabe, and Yuna Mizumori may find it difficult to accumulate enough points to top their blocks given their standing at 0 points each. This puts them at significant risk for elimination from the STARDOM 5 Star tournament.

STARDOM will select the top 2 competitors per sub-block to determine the 5 Star Grand Prix’s grand winner. The bracketology for the quarterfinal, semi-final, and final matches are shown in the graphic below.
