STARDOM recently held a show in Utsunomiya, Japan which featured multiple tag team matches and a Future of Stardom Championship match.
STARDOM livestreamed the full show for free public viewership on their official YouTube channel. However, the livestream was merely a tech test. The company announced that they will remove the corresponding replay from their channel by 12:00AM JST (10:00AM EST). Coming off of her sixth successful defense of the Future of Stardom Championship, Rina spoke on Miyu Amasaki’s spirit as a challenger. She adds that their generation of STARDOM talent should lead the company moving forward. Rina then expresses her intent of competing against Miyu in the future at a much bigger stage.
Despite the loss, Miyu Amasaki remained positive at the post-match interview. She says that she enjoys working with Rina as the reigning champion brings out the best in her.
As for who’s next in line for Rina’s belt, the champion’s twin sister Hina stated her intent to challenge for the title sometime in the future. Hina has been out of action due to injury, but she reminded everyone of her goal to challenge for her sister’s belt. She wishes for her sister to remain champion upon her return so that her championship victory could be more meaningful.
