Future of Stardom Championship match

Miyu Amasaki put an end to Rina’s dominating 512-day reign as Future of Stardom Champion. Rina amassed a total of twelve successful defenses with the belt throughout her reign. On the other hand, Miyu Amasaki picks up her first championship win in her wrestling career.

IWGP Women’s Championship match

AEW‘s “Timeless” Toni Storm, however, was unsuccessful in her IWGP Women’s Championship match against the defending champion Mayu Iwatani. Toni executed three consecutive Storm Zeroes, but Mayu proved her resiliency as STARDOM’s Icon as she kicked out of the pinfall. As Toni was about to hit the champion with a Running Corner Hip Attack, Mayu reversed and delivered a picture perfect Springboard Poisonrana from the top rope to retain her belt.

Both competitors shared a warm hug after the match as a show of respect. This furthermore marks Mayu’s seventh successful defense of the IWGP Women’s Championship.

World of Stardom Championship match

And in the main event, Tam Nakano and Suzu Suzuki put on an all out war for the prestigious World of Stardom title. The action spilled to the outside early on. Suzu Suzuki set up a table by the ringside area that she would put Tam through with her Dolphin Buster. Both competitors continued to go through hell and back fighting for the title. Champion Tam Nakano took several falls from the top rope care of Suzu’s intense offense.

Unfortunately for Suzuki, Tam proved to be the tougher woman that night by escaping her pin attempts at the very last second. Tam eventually secured the pinfall victory after planting Suzu on the mat with a Violet Screwdriver and Twilight Dream combination.

STARDOM now gears up for their upcoming Goddess Tag League tournament and co-promoted Historic X-Over II show with NJPW.
