Nollywood actress Stella Damasus on Tuesday, drove her daughters, Angelica and Isabel, to her ex-husband Jaiye Aboderin’s grave to mark the 20th anniversary.
The mother of two via her verified Facebook page shared the emotional moment accompanied by a message of gratitude.
“Exactly 20 years ago today my husband JAIYE ABODERIN passed away. 20 years later with his children grown enough to honor his legacy in the same place, we went back there,” she wrote.
Reflecting on the experience, the actress added, “It was not easy to get through this but I am grateful to God for strength.
“Special thanks to my family and friends who joined us and those who couldn’t make it but prayed and called. It is well with us. Jaiye is forever in our hearts. May his soul continue to rest in peace.”
