Stephanie Vaquer is leaving CMLL and NJPW.

On July 10, CMLL and NJPW announced that Stephanie Vaquer, citing personal reasons, had elected to depart from both companies’ rosters effectively immediately. As a result, Vaquer will not compete in her scheduled match against Lluvia at the Fantasticamania event on July 13. CMLL also announced that Vaquer was stripped of the CMLL World Women’s and World Women’s Tag Team Championship.

A new CMLL World Women’s Champion will be crowned at the Fantasticamania event on July 13. Lluvia will face Viva Van and AEW’s Willow Nightingale for the title.

Vaquer competed at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, where she lost the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship to Mercedes Moné. Record then reported that she had offers from AEW and WWE. Luchablog wrote that she was still under contract with CMLL, though the company might let her out of her deal if she had a big offer from a company in the United States.
