"Eminem has never been afraid to make his opinions known."
As the election campaign draws to a close, both sides are pulling out the big guns. Donald Trump has a skipping and sweepstake-awarding Elon Musk, but Kamala Harris has rapper Eminem and former president Barack Obama.
In the clip above from Wednesday's The Late Show, Stephen Colbert plays a clip of Eminem talking at a recent rally in Michigan, telling the crowd that "People shouldn't be afraid to express their opinions."
"Eminem has never been afraid to make his opinions known, not even politically," says Colbert. "In 2004 he slammed Bush, saying 'No more blood for oil' in his song "Mosh". And that same year he argued, 'The way you shake it, I can't believe it, I ain't never seen an ass like that. The way you move it, you make my pee-pee go d-doing, doing doing.' I believe that was about repealing the estate tax."
