As ballots mail out and Election Day draws closer, Kamala Harris supporters are continuing to show up in the final stretch of her presidential campaign.

Stephen King will join the horror community’s virtual grassroots event Scare Up the Vote, and Kumail Nanjiani will perform for South Asians Stand-Up for Kamala, both of which will stream on Oct. 15.

In addition to King, Scare Up the Vote will feature Mike Flanagan, Don Mancini, Bryan Fuller, Stephen Graham Jones, Tananarive Due, Paul Tremblay, Cynthia Pelayo, Gabino Iglesias, Scott Derrickson, Victor LaValle and Alma Katsu. Streaming at 8pm ET, the event aims to raise funds and awareness for Harris and running mate Tim Walz.

South Asians Stand-Up will also feature appearances from Padma Lakshmi, Avantika, Liza Koshy, Aparna Nancherla, Abby Govindan, Maulik Pancholy, Poorna Jagannathan, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Pooja Reddy, Rajiv Satyal, Ravi Patel, Nik Dodani and Sarayu Blue. Kicking off at 9pm ET, the event aims to rally, engage and energizing South Asian voters, with all proceeds going to the Harris Victory Fund.

Harris has accepted a CNN invite for an Oct. 23 town hall following the deadline for both candidates to agree to a presidential debate on the network. The town hall will be broadcast live from the critical swing state of Pennsylvania.

Although Trump previously declared “THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE” for him, CNN has also proposed an individual town hall for him.

“Donald Trump fears another debate where Vice President Harris would hold him accountable in front of tens of millions of Americans,” said Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon said in a statement, claiming that Trump “would rather cocoon himself in safe spaces and avoid real questions about his harmful plans and failed divisive leadership.”
