Steve Austin doesn’t know if he’ll be at WrestleMania 41 as he hasn’t been asked by anybody from the WWE to appear.
The WWE Hall of Famer is a name fans always wanted to see at WrestleMania. He came out of retirement at WrestleMania 38, beating Kevin Owens in a fantastic match after nearly two decades out of the ring.
Steve Austin spoke with The Schmo while at the Mint 400 off-road desert race and was asked about John Cena’s heel turn and the chance he’ll help Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.

“Hey, that happened. Sooner or later. Finally, it happened. So it’ll be interesting to see. You know whether the people accept him, accept him as a heel, or has he turned himself more baby face? I think it remains to be seen as the story unfolds,” Steve Austin said.
“But nonetheless, they’ve kept they’ve kicked off in an epic build into WrestleMania,” Austin continued. “That’s what they do every single year. And this year it’s here in Las Vegas, so it’s gonna be pretty damn awesome.”

Stars like Cena, The Rock and The Undertaker all appeared at WrestleMania last year, but Austin was not present. He also shared that he’s not been asked by WWE to appear this year, despite a recent knee replacement and WrestleMania taking place near his home in Nevada.
“Hey, I haven’t been in contact with anybody, so I guess anything could happen. But I’m here to run the Mint 400 and that’s what my sights are set on. I’m not looking to Mania,” Austin said. “I’m looking to the Mint 400. I got a brand new left knee, trying here to – this is my first race back. So I’m gonna go out there and kick ass and see if I can do as well as I can.”
