Stick around. There have been all kinds of changes to WWE in recent months, with the roster seeing a variety of updates and moves. Those are the kinds of moves that can make the company feel very different, but at the same time, some wrestlers are choosing to stay with the company going forward. Now it seems that we are seeing that from one of the biggest names in WWE history.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s Out: Former WWE Superstar Confirms Departure From Company, Officially A Free Agent

According to Fightful Select by way of 411mania.com, Randy Orton is believed to have signed a new five year deal with WWE, which would keep him under contract with the company until 2029, though this has yet to be confirmed. There is no word on how much time was left on Orton’s previous deal, which was a five year contract signed in 2019. There was a chance that WWE would add more time to the previous deal due to how long Orton was out of action due to injuries.

Orton has had quite the time in WWE. Check out his run with the company:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that WWE needs to get done from time to time and it gives them a lot of breathing room with one of their bigger names. It is nice to have Orton around for that much longer, though he is going to be closing in on 50 years old when his new deal expires. I can’t imagine he has that many deals left, but he has kept himself at a high level for a long time and that very well could continue for a good while longer.

What do you think of Orton’s current run in WWE? Will he break the record for most World Titles in history? Let us know in the comments below.
