Storm Reid is opening up about her Euphoria exit after two seasons.

The HBO series is progressing with Season 3, but Reid will not return to the drama. However, she is “excited” to see what happens next.

“I’m not, but I’m so excited to watch it, I can’t wait,” Reid told TMZ about not being part of the series in its upcoming season.

Reid said what she will miss most about the show: “Just being with the whole crew and cast has been such an amazing experience, and I’m forever indebted to the show. I’ll miss them. I’ll miss hanging out with them but it’s going to be a good reason and I can’t wait to watch.”

Reid played the role of Gia Bennett, Zendaya’s sister, in the Sam Levinson-created series. She explained that she’s “got stuff going on” and was about to graduate from USC.

Another reason why she was not able to return to Euphoria had to do with scheduling and projects she has lined up with her production company A Seed & Wings, adding, “schedules just can’t align sometimes.”

Reid reiterated that she will miss everyone in the production and “cannot wait to see what they pull together because it’s been a long time and we all want to watch.”

Euphoria last aired in February 2022 and despite the long wait for the third season, Reid thinks viewers will return to find out what happens next.

Euphoria is always going to be a cultural phenomenon whether you like it or not,” she said. “People want to tune in. People want to see what’s going to happen with Ru, so I will be there.”

On what she will miss the most about the show, Reid said, “I think the memories I share with [Zendaya] are always going to be near and dear to my heart.”
