Paris Saint-Germain travels to Strasbourg for the 20th day of Ligue 1, this Friday (9 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the Alsatian club.
After a very difficult start to the season, the Racing Club de Strasbourg has found its cruising speed. Stuck in the second part of the table on the edge of the red zone at the end of the fall, the Alsatian club is currently emerging in tenth place after giving itself some breathing room.
More generally, the dynamics of Racing announce an interesting return phase, with a series of 8 matches without defeat in all competitions. But Strasbourg will have a lot to do to extend this series since it is the great Paris Saint-Germain who arrive in Alsace this Friday evening, to open the 20th day of Ligue 1 (kick-off at 9 p.m.).
With which starting eleven? Patrick Vieira will still have to reshape his squad since the Racing coach has to deal with several significant absences. Lebo Mothiba, Kvin Gameiro and Ismaël Doukouré are all in the infirmary in the Strasbourg ranks. A Strasbourg team which will also be deprived of Saidou Sow, currently involved in the African Cup of Nations with his selection, Guinea. The other executives of the group are expected to start, but Strasbourg will no longer be able to count on its emblematic goalkeeper Matz Sels, who has left for Nottingham Forest. Number 2 Alaa Bellaarouch should be promoted to this position for the rest of the season.
The expected line-up for Strasbourg : Bellaarouch – Guilbert, Perrin, Sylla, Senaya – Sissoko, Mwanga – Angelo, Diarra, Bakwa – Sahi Dion or Emegha.
