Stree 2 cast salary revealed! ‘Vicky’ Rajkummar Rao earned more than Shraddha Kapoor, ‘Bhediya’ Varun Dhawan gets hefty cheque too

Amar Kaushik-directed Stree 2 has taken the box office by storm. The Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer – which was released on August 15, has amassed a whopping Rs 145.80 crore in the first three days. As the horror-comedy continues to cast its spell, a reports revealing how much the main cast, supporting stars and cameo actor received for their part in the sequel has made its way online. Stree 2 cast salary revealed

As per a Free Press Journal article, Shraddha Kapoor reportedly earned a whopping Rs 5 crore for playing the titular role in the sequel of the supernatural comedy horror film. Her co-star, Rajkummar Rao however, took home an even bigger cheque for his performance as Vicky. As per the report, the versatile actor – who is still a ladies’ tailor, charged Rs 6 crore to reprise his role.

Pankaj Tripathi who plays Rudra – a paranologist and bookshop owner, reportedly received a paycheck of Rs 3 crore for his performance in the sequel. As per the article, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee received a 7-digit figure cheque for their performances as Bittu and Jana, respectively. While Khurrana charged Rs 70 lakh to reprise his role as Vicky’s best friend, Banerjee earned Rs 55 lakh to make the audience laugh once more.

Varun Dhawan reportedly charged Rs 2 crore for his special appearance as Bhediya (the werewolf) in Stree 2.

Titled Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank, the comedy-horror is directed by Amar Kaushik, written by Niren Bhatt, and produced jointly by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The film sees Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana reprising their roles from the 2018 film.
