Already decisive in the first leg which ended in a draw (2-2), Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez once again carried Inter Miami on Wednesday in the return match against Nashville.

Inter Miami booked their ticket to the quarter-finals of the Concacaf Champions League. A week after snatching a draw on the Nashville pitch (2-2) despite two goals behind, the Florida club quietly won on the return leg (3-1).

And once again, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez were the main architects of this great victory. The tandem struck in the 8th minute with the Argentinian passing and the Uruguayan finishing. A quarter of an hour later, the former Parisian doubled the lead with a control-strike sequence from the left. And at game time, Luis Suarez completed their XXL performance by offering the third goal to Robert Taylor.

Nashville could well reduce the score in stoppage time, Inter Miami held its qualification for the quarters where Lionel Messi and his gang will face the winner of the duel between Monterrey and Cincinnati.
