NBC has dropped the first teaser trailer for Suits spinoff Suits LA and it has the look and the feel of the original series — more specifically, its opening credit sequence.

Set to the same version of the Suits theme song, Ima Robot’s “Greenback Boogie”, the short teaser gives us a glimpse of stars Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, and Lex Scott Davis, with the Los Angeles skyline as a backdrop.

You can watch the new teaser above and compare it to the Suits opening credits for Seasons 1 and 8 below. (The graphics of the original series’ opener evolved significantly over the years, with the Suits LA teaser resembling its later versions.)

Created by Aaron Korsh, Suits: L.A centers on Ted Black (Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself by representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other and they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All this happens while the show slowly unravels the events that years ago led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved to start all over.

In addition to Amell, McDermitt and Davis, Bryan Greenberg also stars. Deadline also learned recently that Gabriel Macht, who played the brash and suave super lawyer Harvey Specter on the original series, will reprise his role on the offshoot in a three-episode arc.

Korsh is writer and executive producer. David Bartis, Doug Liman, Gene Klein, Anton Cropper, Genevieve Sparling, Rick Muirragui and Jon Cowan also executive produce. Suits LA, produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, premieres Feb. 23 on NBC.
