Super Eagles Land In Nigeria After ‘Horrific Ordeal’ In Libya

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have landed in Kano from Libya , reports Completesports.com.

According reports, the chartered flight will refuel in the ancient city, before it makes it way to Abuja and then Lagos.

The players and their officials were poorly treated on their arrival in Libya on Sunday.

The Super Eagles resolved not to play the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday four encounter because of the ill treatment they were subjected to by the Libyan authorities.

The encounter was scheduled to hold in Benina on Tuesday.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has already condemned the action of the Libyan authorities.

It has also referred the matter to it disciplinary committee.
