Paris Saint-Germain wants to slim down and is determined to let go of at least ten of its players, some of whom are top players.

Slowly but surely, Paris Saint-Germain is making progress in the 2024 summer transfer window. For the moment, much less active than in previous years, the capital club has still started the machine by recruiting Joao Neves (Benfica, sixty million euros) and Willian Pacho (Eintracht Frankfurt, forty million euros) almost one after the other. In July, Ethan Mbappé left for Lille, while Renato Sanches was loaned (with an option to buy) to AS Roma on August 5. Departures whose number could suddenly jump.

Because according to Foot MercatoPSG are reportedly considering a major clean sweep, with no fewer than ten departures being considered. While The Parisian indicated that Danilo Pereira was no longer part of Luis Enrique’s plans, the possibility of seeing flop Milan Skriniar leave a year after his arrival is also part of the equation, even if the Slovakian is determined to stay. Another big disappointment of the last summer transfer window, Manuel Ugarte is still placed in the wagon of the undesirables. According to Foot Mercatothe possibility of a deal with Manchester United, including Jadon Sancho, could convince everyone to do business.

Mukiele inquires

Not necessarily pushed out, Nordi Mukiele is on the lookout to seek more playing time elsewhere, the specialist media also indicated. The other players concerned are Carlos Soler, Juan Bernat, but also Colin Dagba, Ayman Kari, Ismaël Gharbi, Ilyes Housni and Louis Mouquet. Luis Compos and the Parisian management are therefore looking to make room and renew part of their squad. By the end of the transfer window, new recruits should not fail to arrive.

It is in the offensive sector that the biggest arrival is expected. After the departure of Kylian Mbappé at the end of his contract and now a Real Madrid player, Paris is still looking for a man capable of scoring, even if it has Gonçalo Ramos in its ranks. The name of Victor Osimhen comes up insistently, but the Neapolitan’s file does not seem to be making much progress for the moment.
