Surprise ! OL fires its coach

To everyone’s surprise, Olympique Lyonnais chose to part ways with its main coach and all of its staff.

The season has barely ended, OL have chosen to reshape their technical staff. But not that of the men’s team – admirers of Pierre Sage can be reassured -, but of the women’s. Sonia Bompastor and two of her deputies have just been relieved of their duties.

OL modifies its technical bar

This decision comes just a few days after the defeat conceded in the Champions League final against Barcelona. We can imagine that there is indeed a cause and effect link between these two events. And that the title of French champion acquired a few days earlier did not weigh heavily in the balance.
