At 34, Mario Balotelli has still not decided to hang up his boots despite the chaotic seasons that follow one another.

This Monday we learned from Cadena Cope, a Spanish radio station, of the probable upcoming signing of the whimsical Italian striker in favor of a local third division club, Intercity Alicante.

Without a club since the end of his lease at Adana Demirspor this summer – a Turkish club for which he scored seven goals in 16 matches – Mario Balotelli is said to be in advanced negotiations with the club from the south-east of Spain, for a one-year contract with an option for an additional season.

Once announced to be close to Corinthians, in Brazil, the former transalpine international was counted in his career among the great attackers of the continent, passing through Inter, AC Milan, Manchester City, Liverpool, OGC Nice and OM. However, he never played in Spain.
