AEW is coming to FOX, at least according to Swerve Strickland.

Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland appeared in QUEENZFLIP‘s newest vlog, and he briefly mentioned that AEW is “about to get on FOX.” He also referenced how WWE SmackDown recently left the network.

“We’re about to get on FOX…’cause SmackDown’s leaving FOX, and then we’re taking FOX,” he said. “TNT, TBS, and FOX, we got three of them things.

AEW potentially getting a show in the FOX network and not FS1 breaking on Queenzflip youtube channel is insane???

Strickland’s comments come at an interesting time, as AEW is reportedly close to finalizing a new media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. The company has been linked to FOX in recent weeks. WWE SmackDown’s deal with the network expired, and SmackDown moved to USA Network after WWE previously signed a deal with NBCUniversal. AEW has reportedly been pitching to other networks, per John Ourand.

As of this writing, there has been no confirmation of any agreement between AEW and FOX.

Additional details are unclear at this time. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
